I often wear my pajamas ‘til late in the day.
Some might disapprove, but I think it’s quite OK.
Why bother to get dressed when there’s no place to go.
I can do my desk work or watch a TV show.

I can have another cup and read some in a book,
With no guests or other folks, who cares how I look.
Some may call me lazy and say I’m wasting time,
But now I’m writing this and trying to make it rhyme.

If there’s some other activity that’s of interest to me,
I can get all dressed up and get moving, don’t you see.
I can be constructive when  the effort yields results,
And just join the rat race with you industrious adults.
