63rd Annual Easter Sunrise Service
Date/Time: Sunday, April 1; gate opens 5am-6am for 6:30am service

Celebrate the glory of Easter with song, scripture and spiritual music as a spectacular sunrise ascends over Lake Lure. Please Note: Due to the large number of guests who attend the service, no one can be admitted through the gate after 6am. Admission to the Sunrise Service is free.

Hickory Nut Gorge Outreach kicks off each spring with a Shrimp & Grits dinner at the Lake Lure Beach Pavilion. Not into grits or shrimp, worry not. There will also be a spaghetti and meatless sauce option.

$15 ages 13 and above, $5 ages 5-12, under 5 are FREE



10th Annual Sale on the Trail

The residents and merchants of Hickory Nut Gorge along 74A from Gerton to Rumbling Bald Resort are holding a 19-mile long yard and sidewalk sale. Come early for the best selection of household items, crafts, sporting goods, sidewalk sale items, and baked goods.
