The Holidays are fast approaching and I think they are going to look very different from years past. However, the one thing that remains the same is our love for our friends and family. We here at Mountains Branch Library hope that you have a wonderful holiday season. Please stop in to see us when you can.
We are excited to announce that we are back to our regular hours for all your library needs.
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 10:00 – 6:00
Wednesday and Saturday 10:00 – 3:00

We are slowly starting in-person programming again and can’t be more thrilled! We had a cooking demonstration and learned how to make Hot Smoked Pimento Cheese Dip in October and had a pumpkin decorating contest in October as well. Rutherford County Library System continues to provide take-home Maker Activities. Swing by the library and see what we have this week,
Story Time has been back in action for the last few weeks. We love seeing the children. Miss Tamara is here every Thursday at 10:30 am for the pre-schoolers. She is doing a fantastic job of keeping the children entertained and socially distant. If you have any questions, feel free to call her directly at 828-287-6116.
The community room is now available for your meeting or group needs. Please give us a call to see if it is available for your community activity.
The Friends of the Mountains Branch Library is working hard to solidify 2021 Books & Bites lineup and it looks like it is going to be amazing! Stay tuned for the final schedule soon.
Speaking of the Friends, if you haven’t joined, now is the perfect time. Come on in and talk to either Angie or myself, and we will give you the information you need. If you are already a Friend, we thank you so much for your support.
